Where call data lives, what Gala takes down, who can read it, and how to have it deleted.
Gavion inc. is based in Montréal. Your account data, your call records and your transcripts are stored in Canada. The application server that runs the voice agent and your dashboard sits in Québec. None of this is a certification. It is simply where the files are.
| What we collect | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Caller and recipient phone numbers | So you can call the person back | Canada (ca-central-1) |
| Name, address and reason for the call | So your dispatcher can book the job | Canada (ca-central-1) |
| Transcript of the call | So you can read back what was said | Canada (ca-central-1) |
| Call duration and timestamps | Billing, and your usage against the plan | Canada (ca-central-1) |
| Live call audio | To answer the caller during the call | Not kept: zero data retention with our voice provider |
| Recordings you turn on | So you can listen back to a call | Canada, deleted after 90 days |
| Account details: name, email, role | To run your account and your access | Canada (ca-central-1) |
Gala takes the caller's name, the number to call back, the address of the job and the nature of the problem. It asks the qualifying questions you configured, in the caller's own language. At the end that becomes a written summary in your dashboard. Gala does not quote a firm price by phone and does not confirm availability it has not checked. Outside that perimeter it transfers, or logs a priority callback.
You do. You own all your data and can access or delete it at any time. Inside your account you set role-based access: a technician sees their own jobs and schedule, while owners keep the full view.
We never sell your data. We never use it to train third-party models. We never share it for marketing or advertising. Live call audio runs under a zero data retention arrangement with our voice provider: it answers the caller, and the provider keeps nothing afterward.
Recording sits under a rule of its own. Section 184(2)(a) of the Criminal Code lets a business record a call it is on, since one party to the call has consented. The practical advice is the same on every one of our province pages: put a line in your greeting that says the call is recorded, gives the purpose, and asks the caller to agree. You write the line, Gala says it.
Write to privacy@gavion.ai or use the data and privacy request form. That covers anyone whose information we hold, including a caller who never had an account. We answer within 30 days. The full text is in the privacy policy, and more answers are in the FAQ.
