At VoIP.ms, forwarding is set in the customer portal. No codes to dial: you create a forward, then route the number to it.
VoIP.ms is a Montréal-based VoIP provider. Its phone numbers are called DIDs in the portal.

The DID's ring time still applies. If it is too short, the call may go to voicemail or failover before Gala answers.
Keep the number's usual routing. In the DID settings, click Show Failover Options.
Choose the Gala forward for Busy, Unreachable and No Answer. The ring time sets how long before failover.
A forwarded call pays the number's inbound rate plus the termination rate of the outgoing leg. VoIP.ms gives the example of $0.01 plus $0.01, or $0.02 a minute.
Every code and fee on this page comes from VoIP.ms's own support pages, read on October 23, 2026. Providers do change their codes: if in doubt, their page is the reference.
Create a forward under DID Numbers, Call Forwarding. Then, in Manage DID, choose Call Forwarding as the number's routing and select that forward.
Yes. The DID's failover options forward calls when the line is busy, unreachable or unanswered, after the ring time you choose.
Slightly: the call pays the inbound rate and the termination rate. VoIP.ms's example comes to $0.02 a minute in total.
