The best AI receptionists in Canada, compared from their own sites

Every service here was read on its own site, on a stated date. The table shows what each one publishes, and what it does not.

Lists of the best AI receptionist are usually affiliate pages. This one is not. It asks the same fixed questions of every service we could read. What does the entry price include, and what does the next minute cost? Who answers, what does the vendor say about French, and where does your call data live?

Gavion builds Gala, one of the 20 services below, so read this as a comparison published by a competitor rather than a neutral review. That is also why nothing here is our opinion of another product. Each row repeats what that vendor publishes, and links the comparison where its source page is cited.

How this list was made

Every row was read from the vendor's own public page, on the date shown in its comparison. Each name below links to that comparison, where the source page is cited. Nothing here is inferred. Where a page does not state a fee, a language or where data lives, the table says so instead of guessing.

Prices stay in the currency the vendor publishes, and none of them are converted. A service that publishes no price at all is listed as such rather than left out. A missing price is itself a fact about buying from it.

Gala's row is not typed by hand either. It is generated from our own price list, so it cannot go stale while a competitor's row moves. That is $129 to $439 CAD a month, 250 to 1,000 minutes included, no setup fee. Gala is first in the table because it is ours, not because a ranking put it there. No vendor paid to be on this page and there are no affiliate links.

Every service, side by side

One row per service, in the words of its own site. The full comparison for any of them is one click away, under its name further down.

Read the starting price next to the included minutes, never on its own. An entry plan with a small allowance and a high per-minute rate can surprise you. In a busy month it costs more than a dearer plan that includes what you use.

Read the last two columns the same way. A vendor that names where your recordings sit has answered the question. A vendor that says only that it is Canadian has not.

What to check before you sign

Frequently asked questions

What is the best AI receptionist in Canada?

There is no single answer, and a page that gives you one is selling. It depends on your call volume, on the language your callers use, and on where your call data has to live. It also depends on whether some calls need a person. This page publishes what each service states, so the choice is made on facts rather than on adjectives.

How is this list ordered?

It is not a ranking. Gala is first because it is ours, and the page should say so plainly. The others follow in the order their comparisons were written. No vendor paid to appear, and there are no affiliate links.

Which of these answer in Québécois French?

Several state French and English, and the table quotes each one in its own words. None of the pages we read use the phrase Québécois French. Gala answers in Québécois French and English on every plan, detected during the call.

Which of these keep call data in Canada?

Read the Data in Canada column. Some name the country their servers sit in, some state PIPEDA and nothing more, and some say nothing at all. Where a page is silent, ask the vendor in writing and get the answer into the contract. Gala stores call data in Canada.

How current is this page?

Each comparison shows the date its facts were read and links the page they were read from. Prices move. If a figure here no longer matches the vendor's site, tell us and we will re-read it and change the date.

The fastest way to judge any of these is to hear one answer your own scenarios. Meet Gala, the AI receptionist · All comparisons
